This guide provides information and a timeline to assist Cardinia library members waiting to receive a new Myli library card. The library cards have been produced with your existing library membership number so we don’t anticipate any impact to any current holds, borrowing history or account information. If you have any concerns, please contact support@myli.org.au
Keep an eye on your mailbox from Monday 6 March for a letter from Myli with your new library card. When you receive your new library card, you can use it straight away and discard your old card by cutting it up and putting it in your recycling bin.
If you haven’t received your letter by Monday 3 April, let staff know at your local library and they’ll check to see if they have a letter waiting for you at your local branch. They’ll keep an eye out until Friday 7 April for any returned letters.
If you haven’t received your letter in the mail and if staff have checked your letter isn’t waiting for you at the branch, we’re sorry to say it’s likely your letter has been lost in the mail. Staff can issue you with a new library card with a new membership number and assist you with updating any online and e-resource accounts. If you really love your current membership number and can’t part with it, let us know and we’ll consider alternative options with you.
