Mindfulness Series: Clay Handbuilding Basics @ Leongatha Library

Bring the kids along to Leongatha Library for a creative, hands-on clay handbuilding session. Follow along to learn a range of techniques to help you create simple handcrafted clay pots and figures, or simply have fun squishing and shaping in this messy play sensory art experience.

This program is designed for primary school-aged participants, but older and younger children are welcome to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Carers assisting young children do not need their own ticket.

All materials are provided. If you wish to take your creations home on the day, please bring a suitable container to carry them in (e.g. plastic tub, cardboard box lined with baking paper).

Clay is a messy, hands-on arts experience, please dress accordingly – old clothes or outfits that can get ‘earthy’ are ideal!

Bookings are required to attend. You can book your ticket via Eventbrite, in person at the library, or by ringing 5662 4829 to secure your spot.

We have limited spaces available. If you are no longer able to make an event, please let us know so that others don’t miss out.
