The countdown is on! Myli Libraries’ Great Book Swap is just three weeks away, and now is the perfect time to start gathering your pre-loved books.
From 31 August to 6 September, you can bring along your unwanted (but still much-loved!) books to your local Myli library, browse our swap collection and discover some new-to-you reads.
Bring a book — or ten! — and swap them for something different, with a gold coin donation for each swap. Every donation will go towards the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, helping support their work with remote Communities across Australia.

What can you do now?
Start your book pile — have a look through your shelves and choose some books that are ready for a new reader.
Tell your book-loving friends — the more people who join in, the more books there are to discover!
Save the date — the Great Book Swap runs from 31 August–6 September, during regular library opening hours.
Get inspired — take a look at the First Nations authors, illustrators and creators in our collections while you wait for swap week.
