Introducing LibCal — Our New Events Platform

LibCal is a platform specifically designed for library services. It offers improved filtering, allowing patrons to view events by library branch or event category, and provides greater flexibility for modifying or cancelling registrations. This will be a welcome improvement for our patrons and addresses feedback we have received in the past.

To register for an event on LibCal, visit myli.au/events or click on the ‘Events’ page on our website. From there, you can view all upcoming events or use the search panel to filter by library or category. Select the event you’re interested in and click ‘Begin Registration’. Once you’ve completed the required details, you’ll receive an email confirmation.

Yes! On the events calendar, use the Location filter to choose your local library branch from the dropdown menu. Once selected, the calendar will automatically update to display only events happening at that location. You can change or clear the filter at any time to see events at other branches.

To cancel your registration online, use the link provided in your confirmation or reminder email. You can also cancel by calling the library branch hosting the event, where staff will be happy to assist you. Each libraries phone number can be found on our Locations page, here: https://myli.au/locations 

Some events at our libraries do not require registration. If this is the case, there will be no ‘Begin Registration’ button on the event listing.
