Celebrate Cultural Diversity & Harmony Week!
This March, Myli is celebrating Cultural Diversity Week and Harmony Week by inviting you to share why you love your library—in your own language!
As part of the Love Your Library in Your Language campaign, we’re encouraging our communities to write a message of love and appreciation for their local library. Simply visit your Myli library, grab a special postcard, and write your message in your preferred language. Your messages will be proudly displayed throughout March, showcasing the diverse languages and cultures that make our communities so vibrant.
This statewide campaign is a collaboration between Public Libraries Victoria and CAVAL, highlighting the important role libraries play in supporting learning, literacy, and connection for multicultural communities. The completed postcards will be sent to the Victorian Minister for Multicultural Affairs to highlight how much libraries mean to our multicultural communities ahead of the State Budget in May.
