Myli Christmas Appeal 2025

Your donation helps us build on the great services we already provide. Donations help us purchase more new books for your local library, add more new items to borrow – like VR headsets, cleaning tools and coding kits – and offer more activities for people in the community to enjoy. Every contribution helps us do even more for our community

We currently only accept monetary donations. Your contributions help us support all Myli branches and ensure resources are directed where they’re needed most to better serve our communities. 

We appreciate the generosity of our community, but we’re unable to accept donations of books or any other physical items. Our collections are carefully developed to ensure they remain current and tailored to the needs of our community. If you’d like to pass your items on, we recommend donating them to local charities, op shops, or community groups. 

Our preference is for members to donate via PayPal. We can accept cash donations. However, donors who wish to claim their donation at tax time will need to donate online, as we are unable to issue tax receipts for cash contributions.

Yes, PayPal will issue an automatic receipt to the donor via email once the transaction is complete. We cannot provide a tax receipt for cash donations, so it is recommended that donations are made online instead.

All donations over $2 made via the PayPal link are tax deductible. Unfortunately, we cannot provide tax receipts for cash donations.

This campaign is designed to support general library services and programs, so donations cannot be allocated to specific projects or initiatives.
