We’re excited to share some big news with the Waterline community! Myli – My Community Library and Bass Coast Shire Council are thrilled to announce that the Waterline Library will soon be moving to its new location at Unit 3, 1524 Bass Highway, Grantville. This move is in response to our growing community’s needs and will help us better serve you with expanded programs, enhanced facilities, and improved access to services.
What to Expect at the New Location
Our new Waterline Library is designed to support all members of the community by offering:

More programs and activities for all ages: From early childhood programs to adult workshops, there will be something for everyone.

Enhanced facilities: The new space is being designed to provide a comfortable, welcoming environment with dedicated areas for learning, relaxation, and community connection.

Open Access service: Enjoy the flexibility of accessing the library’s resources and spaces even outside staffed hours. With Open Access, you can use the library when it’s most convenient for you.

This move reflects Myli’s commitment to supporting our community’s feedback, growth, and connection. The new location will allow us to:

When Will the Move Happen?
We’re currently working on finalising building permits and completing the fitout of the new location. While we don’t have an exact moving date just yet, the new Waterline Library is expected to open in early 2025. We’ll keep you updated on our progress here and on our social media channels.
