Warm Winter Read 2024

Warm Winter Read 2024

Welcome back to Warm Winter Read, the program that invites you to embrace the joy of reading during the colder months!

As the temperature drops, it’s the perfect time to cosy up with a good book and dedicate a few moments each day to immerse yourself in a captivating story. By participating, you not only enrich your reading experience but also stand a chance to win fantastic bookish prizes! If you’re uncertain about which book to choose, your local librarian is eagerly waiting to assist you in finding your next great read!

The Warm Winter Read challenge is on from 1 June to 31 August 2024, and is open to adult readers (aged 16 years and over) across Victoria.

  • How to participate —

    REGISTRATION

Log each day you spend time reading, between 1 June – 31 August 2024 on the Warm Winter Read website. Alternatively, you can collect a paper Reading Journal from your local library branch to log your reading. You can register for the Warm Winter Read at any time during 1 June – 31 August.

    CHALLENGES

Participants are encouraged to tick off six (6) challenge activities as they progress through the challenge period. These are not compulsory but designed to encourage readers to participate in various parts of the reading challenge.

Need help signing up? See your friendly local librarian for assistance – you might even leave with your very first Warm Winter Read!
