Youth Fest 2022 Mini Art Canvas competition

We’re holding a Mini Art competition for Youth Fest 2022! 

Come into any participating branch* from September 17 to collect a mini canvas to create a masterpiece at home! Canvases can be completed in any medium and design that you choose. Return your completed canvas to the library by October 2 to automatically go into the draw to win a $50 Teens Gift voucher. Artwork will be displayed in the library until October 17.

Who can enter? 

This competition is strictly open for Myli members aged between 12 and 25 years. 

How long does it run for?

The competition commences on 17 September 2022 and runs until 2nd October, or until Mini Canvas supplies have run out.

Where can I collect my canvas from/ return my completed artwork?

Canvas supplies can be collected from the following participating branches* – 

Warragul, Drouin, Northern Mobile, San Remo, Inverloch, Foster, Korumburra, Leongatha, Neerim South, Poowong, Wonthaggi and Mirboo North. 

Supplies are limited – 

Canvas supplies are limited to one canvas per person. Unfortunately, canvases cannot be given to patrons who are not aged between 12- 25 years. Supplies are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and we cannot hold canvas supplies for later collection. 

How big is the canvas?

It’s a teeny tiny 10cm x 10cm! 

What is the theme?

There is no set theme and we encourage you to let your imagination go wild! We can’t wait to see what you create. 

Competition Winners – 

The winners will be notified by a Myli representative.  All entrants can collect their artwork from their local library branch from Monday 17th October 2022.

Youth Fest 2022 – 

Youth Fest 2022 is an opportunity for Victoria to celebrate our state’s young people by supporting them to organise and deliver events that showcase their talents and contributions to community. This activity has been funded by the Victorian Government – Youth Department.
