Stand-up Paddle Boards (SUPs) are watercraft boards for standing, paddling, and enjoying water activities.
Available at: Inverloch & Phillip Island
Wheel trolley: Designed to make it easier to transport a SUP/surfboard over land, such as from a vehicle to the water. Available at Inverloch and Phillip Island.
Soft racks: Temporary roof racks made of flexible materials to fit most vehicles, ideal for transporting bulky items. For use with SUPs and surfboards only. Available at Phillip Island.
Borrowing from the Library of Things is easy, but a little different from borrowing books. The following conditions ensure items stay complete and are ready for the next person to enjoy.
Borrowing & Returning
—Items can only be borrowed and returned during staffed library hours; please ensure your booking dates align with your chosen pickup location staffed hours
—Items must be returned to the same library they were borrowed from
—After-hours chutes cannot be used for returns
—Staff will check the kit on return to ensure all parts are included
Eligibility & Responsibility
—You must be 18 or over, have a full Myli membership, and have less than $10 owing on your account to borrow Library of Things items
—Borrowers are responsible for the safe use of items
—Borrowers are responsible for safe transport of items to and from the library
—When making a booking, you must agree to the Library of Things Terms & Conditions
Booking Dates & Loan Periods
—Each booking request is reviewed and confirmed by our Myli Libraries Team, which means confirmation of your booking may take up to 72 hours to be confirmed
—Each booking is for a specific copy of an item — if that copy becomes unavailable the booking may be cancelled
—Loan periods are fixed (no extensions or renewals), with a booking period between 3-7 days chosen at the time of booking
—Reserved items must be collected on the first day of the booking period, or the booking will be automatically returned
—There is a borrowing limit of 3 items at any one time
Care of Items
—Items must be returned clean and in good condition
—Read all instructions prior to use
—Damaged or missing parts may result in charges and/or borrowing restrictions
Late Returns
—Returning items on time ensures no one misses out on their chance to borrow.
—Late returns will result in an automatic 3-month suspension from booking in LibCal
Booking Cancellations
—If an item is returned late or damaged by the previous user, we may need to cancel future bookings for that copy
—We’ll notify you via email if your booking has been cancelled
To start borrowing from our wonderful Library of Things, you will need upgrade your existing Myli membership to a Library of Things membership.
All you need to do is bring along some photo ID and sign the MYLI Library of Things Recreational Equipment Hire Waiver and Terms & Conditions. You must also be aged 18 years or above.
Library of Things items can only be picked up at our staffed locations/hours and should be returned to the same location they were borrowed from.
