Graeme Simsion in conversation | Online Author Talk | Myli Libraries | June 2022

Join us online for an In Conversation event with author Graeme Simsion.

Graeme will discuss his book ‘The Novel Project: A Step-by-Step Guide to Your Novel, Memoir or Biography‘ with writer and interviewer Claire Halliday.

About the book –

The no-drama novel writing method behind Graeme Simsion’s global bestsellers. ‘Writing is easy – all you do is sit staring at a blank sheet of paper until drops of blood form on your forehead.’ This well-known quote portrays writing as mysterious, romantic, and unteachable.

The Novel Project, by internationally best-selling author Graeme Simsion, is about another approach – based on established theories of creativity and design, and the proven experience of authors who have adopted a more structured and reliable process. It’s aimed at those who want to write a book for publication – or at least one that others will want to read. The Novel Project is the easy-to-follow inside scoop from an author who started his writing career at fifty and whose novels have sold millions of copies around the world. It will help you craft the best book you’re capable of – no blood on your forehead required.

About the author –

Graeme Simsion is the internationally bestselling author of The Rosie Project, The Rosie Effect, The Rosie Result and The Best of Adam Sharp, as well as The Novel Project, Don Tillman’s Standardized Meal System and Data Modeling Essentials. He and Anne Buist, co-authors of Two Steps Forward and Two Steps Onward, live together in Melbourne.
