For Meetup 2023, the four South Gippsland Myli branches of Korumburra, Leongatha, Foster and Mirboo North were lucky enough to host some amazing film workshops led by the talented Mick Green of Drift Media. The title of these workshops was Something Wicked in South Gippsland Comes – a hint to this video’s spooky nature!
Participants aged from 10 – 25 (and a couple of adults who didn’t want to miss out on the fun!) assembled at their local branch to learn film techniques, collaborate and either direct from behind the camera or were confident enough to step in front of the camera for some truly inspired acting!
Every branch had absolutely loads of fun, with each library being the setting of a rather supernatural event; be it ghosts, zombies, magic books or witchcraft! The participants really got to make the video their own with film editing and some stellar ideas and creativity.
