The Cardinia Mobile Library is still undergoing essential repairs, which are taking longer than expected. As a result, it will remain off the road during the week of October 26.

Due to the nature of the issue, we cannot confirm exactly when the Cardinia Mobile Library will be back on the road but it will remain off the road next week while our mechanical team assesses the damage and necessary repairs required.

(Main Street town site during school holidays)

Garfield: Ritchie Street 12.30pm – 3.15pm

Tynong: Railway Avenue 3.30pm – 5.30pm

Upper Beaconsfield: Charing Cross 10.45am – 1.30pm

Gembrook: Gembrook Community Centre in Gembrook-Pakenham Road 2.30pm – 5.30pm

Wednesday

Beaconsfield Community Complex: O’Neil Road

12pm – 6pm

Thursday –

Nar Nar Goon Primary School: 11am – 12pm

Maryknoll: Koolbirra Road 12.30pm – 1.30pm

Cockatoo Country Market Car Park: 2.15pm – 6pm

Friday –

Lang Lang School: 11am – 1.45pm

Koo Wee Rup: V/Line Bus Interchange 2.15pm – 5.30pm

The Cardinia Mobile Library is the busiest in Victoria with more than 55,000 visits every year.

The service provides more than books and DVDs, it is a mobile meeting place where people from small communities can gather, share news and make connections.

A brand new state-of-the art, mobile library trailer arrived in 2019, with funding from the Victorian State Government and Cardinia Shire Council.
