Cardinia Mobile Library

Cardinia Mobile Library visits Bunyip, Garfield, Tynong, Beaconsfield, Nar Nar Goon, Maryknoll, Cockatoo, Lang Lang and Koo Wee Rup on a weekly basis.

As the mobile library truck is a specialised service that requires a trained driver, there may be occasions when the service is unavailable or changes need to be made at short notice.

If you are making a special trip to visit the Cardinia Mobile Library, we recommend checking our Changes to Service page before you travel for the latest updates.

  • About -

The Cardinia Mobile Library is the busiest in Victoria with more than 55,000 visits every year.

The service provides more than books and DVDs, it is a mobile meeting place where people from small communities can gather, share news and make connections.

A brand new state-of-the art, mobile library trailer arrived in 2019, with funding from the Victorian State Government and Cardinia Shire Council.
