Home Library Service

Register your interest and we’ll check for an available volunteer within your community. If there’s an available volunteer, you’ll be matched up for a friendly and personalised service. Our team will then select items for you to borrow from the library. We’ll contact you to arrange the delivery of these items and the pick up of any materials you’ve finished using. The service can be offered as a temporary or a long-term solution.

As a Home Library Service participant, you can receive books from our wide selection, including large print and standard print. You will also have access to our wide range of magazines, DVDs, audio-books and our wide range of e-resources including e-audiobooks, e-books, e-magazines and many accessible online programs and events.

To select your items, our Home Library Service volunteers will talk to you about:

• What you like to read
• How many things you may like to receive
• If you wish to choose specific titles or authors
• If you would be happy to get a selection of items to browse through
• How to access our e-resources
• Your interests and hobbies
