24-hour library access is currently available at our Foster and Poowong branches. It will soon be available at the Mirboo North branch. If you would like more information about 24/7 library access, please phone your local library branch.
HOW TO APPLY
Please download the 24 hour security application and the correct application form (single or family – see below), read and agree to the terms and conditions, then complete the form and bring a printed copy along with two forms of ID to the library.
Our staff will assess and process your application. If successful, you will be required to pay a $30 refundable deposit for your security pass, and you must attend and complete a new-user induction before the pass is enabled.
WHICH TYPE OF PASS IS RIGHT FOR ME?
To ensure everyone has a safe and happy experience, people can apply for an individual pass or a family pass.
You must select the correct secure pass membership and understand what it entitles you to. Please read the brief descriptions of each pass below to determine which is right for you, and then download the correct application form, which includes the terms and conditions of that particular pass.
A Family Pass allows one (1) adult to bring their children – aged under 18, and named on the application form – into the library using their secure pass.
Each parent needs their own pass – this is required by our insurer. Pass sharing is not permitted at this time and will result in an immediate termination of your 24-hour access.
This pass is for one (1) adult aged 18 years or older who wishes to access a 24/7 library after hours. If you wish to attend the library with other adults, they will each require their own secure pass.
Sharing your pass with others, or allowing anyone else access to the library after hours, is not permitted at this point in time, and will result in an immediate termination of your 24-hour access.
