Join Tim to make and test fly your own paper planes. Different “Fold and Fly” designs to choose from.
Marble Run Makers – Foster Library – Mon, 26 Sep 10.30am
Using cardboard, plastic and other recycled materials we will build marble runs and then test them. Come along, build and compete for fun!
Mini Movie Makers with Foster Library – Wed, 28 Sep 10.30am & 11.30am
Calling all creators! Learn the basics of stop-motion and story-boarding then go wild, making your own mini movie. Pair up with a fellow visionary or go solo; your imagination is your limit.
Hanging Planters at Foster Library – Thu, 29 Sep 2:00PM
Make a hanging planter out of recycled bottles and get your own plant to keep.

Korumburra Library School Holiday Event – Make a Spinner – Mon, 19 Sep 2:30PM
Using recycled DVD’s you can design your spinner and watch how the design changes as it spins. Create visual effects, lines, patterns etc. Watch colours merge and change.

Clay Workshop: Handbuilding Basics @ Leongatha Library – Monday 19th Sep 2.30pm
Bring the kids along to Leongatha Library for a fun, hands-on clay handbuilding workshop. Follow along to learn a range of techniques to help you create simple handcrafted clay pots and figures, or simply have fun squishing and shaping in this messy play sensory art experience.

Join Tim in this enchanting workshop where you will get to experience the magic of gems and minerals. See some amazing specimens and join in some fun activities.
Find the funny comedy workshop @ Leongatha Library – Mon 26 Sep 2pm
In her workshops for children from 10 years old and up, Justine Sless teaches basic joke construction, microphone, and performance techniques. Participants work on joke writing and become match fit to deliver 2 – 5 minutes of original stand-up comedy. Participants learn how to manage fear, performance techniques that can enhance confidence and a sense of wellbeing and an understanding of how to own a space and engage an audience.
Feathers, Fur & Scales: Wildlife in the Leongatha Library! – Wed, 28 Sep 11:00AM
Explore the differences between feathered, furry and scaly creatures. This show is a tactile experience and children get up hands-on with our amazing native animals. Discover what it feels like to touch the fur of a possum or the scales of a turtle. Everyone will get an up-close look at one of our hand-raised marsupials, cheeky rainforest parrot, freshwater turtle, shingleback lizard, goanna, pythons, and even a crocodile! Learn about what they eat, where they live and more.
