Win an iPad Competition at the Fish Creek Children’s Festival of Stories – Full Terms and Conditions
Who Can Enter:
The competition is open to all ages. Entrants must be members of Myli – My Community Library at the time of entry.
How to Enter:
Competition Period:
The competition opens at the start of the Fish Creek Children’s Festival of Stories on 17 November 2024 and closes at the end of the event on the same day.
Eligibility:
Entry Limit:
Each individual entrant is permitted only one (1) entry in the competition.
Prize Draw:
The prize will be randomly drawn by a member of the Myli library team between 19 November and 22 November 2024. The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided at the time of entry. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence regarding the outcome of the competition will be entered into.
Prize:
The prize is one (1) iPad – Apple iPad 10.9-inch 256GB Wi-Fi (Silver) [10th Gen] valued at $837.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
Winner Notification:
The winner will be notified using the contact information provided at the time of submission.
The winner must respond to the notification within fourteen (14) days to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this period may result in forfeiture of the prize, and a new winner may be selected. The prize will be awarded to the individual named on the entry form. Proof of identity or Myli membership may be required for prize collection.
Prize Collection:
The prize must be collected from a nominated Myli – My Community Library branch in the Bass Coast Shire, Baw Baw Shire, Cardinia Shire, or South Gippsland Shire.
Any winner under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when collecting the prize. The winner is responsible for their own transport arrangements to collect the prize.
Liability:
The organiser and participating libraries are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during participation in the competition or arising from the use of the prize. The organiser accepts no liability for any issues or complications that may arise in relation to the prize.
Privacy:
Personal information collected during the competition will be used solely for the administration of the competition and event organisation. No personal data will be shared with third parties unless required by law.
Termination or Modification:
The organiser reserves the right to modify, cancel, or terminate the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Compliance:
By submitting an entry, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.

Design the new Junior Myli Library Card!
Are you aged 6-25 and a Myli library member? We want YOU to design our new junior library card! This is your chance to create something that will inspire and represent young readers across our community.
Submit your unique design and be in the running to see your artwork featured on our new junior library cards. The cards will be limited edition and available to new junior members and for purchase.

This year’s theme celebrates the power of connection, belonging, and learning within our community. Whether it’s through stories, art, or shared experiences, libraries are where we come together, find our place, and discover new things.
Prizes –
One winning design will be selected from each age category. The winners will have their artwork featured on Myli’s limited edition junior library cards and receive a framed print of their design. The print must be collected from a Myli library branch located in Bass Coast, Baw Baw, Cardinia Shire or South Gippsland.
