Aware Parenting Discussion Group at San Remo Library

There is no doubt that parenting can be tough! Aware Parenting is a connected, conscious and play-based approach to parenting. Aware parenting is a parenting philosophy created by Aletha Solter a developmental Psychologist.

Jemma Howard (Paediatric Occupational Therapist at the The Tessellating Hub) and Sarah Jury (Myli Library) will be your facilitators in this co-created space. This introduction meeting will provide an overview of Aware Parenting and how an attachment-based parenting style can help you and your children thrive.

Let’s create a safe space where we can explore our parenting styles, how we want to parent and the theories of aware parenting. We will encourage listening and sharing of real lived experience from the group.

If aware parenting resonates with you then we will meet monthly to really ‘hone in’ on the various aspects of aware parenting and create a village where we can support each through the parenting journey.

Learn, grow and share with like-minded parents in a safe and supportive space. Refreshments will be provided and we do have a limited capacity so booking is essential.
