The benefits to having chickens as loveable pets in your backyard go beyond great company when you’re hanging out the washing. They are the perfect addition to a sustainable living, and of course there’s the eggs!

If you’re interested in keeping backyard chooks, but don’t know where to start, or have some of your own and are interested in finding out more information, then join us at Warragul Library to learn about how to pick the right breeds, what housing & equipment you need, and how best to care for these wonderful egg-laying pets!
