Let’s Chat – with Kerryn Vaughan online event

December 10, 2021 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Overview
Join us during 16 Days of Activism for a lunchtime chat with author, podcast host, speaker and Gippsland local, Kerryn Vaughan.

Join us during the 16 Days of Activism campaign for a lunchtime chat with local Gippslandian Kerryn Vaughan. Our host Tanya will chat with Kerryn about her books ‘Get Off The Bench’ and ‘Magnificent Kids’, and get some insight into her podcast and work as an in-demand speaker.

We’ll be discussing ways to empower everyday people to start conversations around gender equality and respect, and how to encourage people to take an active role in making change. Kerryn describes herself as ‘extremely passionate about equality, animal rights and a kinder world’.

Grab something special for lunch and join us over Zoom. You’ll have the opportunity to ask Kerryn questions or just sit and listen. We think you will end this session feeling positive and inspired.

If you can’t attend the event, please register, and we’ll send you a link to the recording to watch at your convenience.

In 2018 she co-founded Girls with Hammers which hosts conferences and workshops aimed at empowering women. Kerryn also facilitates seminars and keynotes for organisations, and is an in-demand speaker and presenter. Kerryn was nominated for a Fred Award in 2021 from the Fred Hollows Foundation.
