Library Lovers with Maya Linnell – April 2022

Library Lovers with Maya Linnell is an online event available exclusively to Australian libraries and hosted by the delightful best-selling author Maya Linnell.

In April, Maya’s guests will be best-selling rural fiction author Fleur McDonald, Wavesound Acquisitions Editor Chiara Priorelli and a team member from the Blue Mountains Library. It will be a light-hearted engaging hour talking all things books, with library users encouraged to ask questions of Maya and the guests each session.

About Maya Linnell

Maya Linnell lives in country Victoria with her family and a menagerie of farm animals. She describes herself as a Writer, Baker and Green Thumb. She is also the bestselling author of the rural fiction books, Wildflower Ridge, Bottlebrush Creek and Magpie’s Bend. Fleur McDonald has lived and worked on farms for much of her life. After growing up in the small town of Orroroo in South Australia, she became a jillaroo before spending twenty years farming 8000 acres, east of Esperance, WA. Fleur likes to write about strong women overcoming adversity, drawing inspiration from her own experiences in rural Australia.
