NAIDOC Week Special Storytime at Leongatha Library

This NAIDOC Week we will be celebrating literacy, language and culture through First Nations’ music, stories and songs at Leongatha Library. Join us for all of your Storytime favourites, learn about musical instruments from the Torres Strait Islands, and create your own instruments from recycled materials in this 1hr special extended Storytime!

This special NAIDOC Week Storytime is a fun, free, one hour session for children and their carers run by an early years educator. Sessions are aimed at preschoolers aged 2-6 years, however, older and younger children are always welcome.

Bookings are preferred to ensure we have enough supplies for all attendees.

We have limited spaces available. If you are no longer able to make an event, please let us know so that others don’t miss out.

Leongatha Library is a breastfeeding friendly place and positively engaging with each other is much more important than keeping quiet! However, children must be supervised at all times by their carers.
