The Great Book Swap – Leongatha Library

Myli Libraries – Leongatha warmly invites you to The Great Book Swap event! We are so excited to be holding a Great Book Swap as part of our NAIDOC Week 2022 celebrations in support of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation! Our Great Book Swap will be held at Leongatha Library on Thursday July 7 following our First Nations special extended children’s Storytime event.
Details:
10:30am-11:30am:
Join in exploring literacy, language and culture through First Nations’ music, stories and songs. Learn about musical instruments from the Torres Strait and create your own from recycled materials.
11:30am-2:30pm:
Bring along a book or two (or ten!), browse our Great Book Swap selection, swap your pre-loved books for some new-to-you reads and make a gold coin donation for each swap you make, in support of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation .
