Bass Coast Myli members will have the chance to win a prize by showcasing your creativity in our Haiku Poem Competition. Simply submit a rhyme celebrating the wonder of whales or their migration. We have three categories – Primary School, Secondary School, and Open, so everyone can participate. Remember a haiku consists of three lines: 5 syllables in the first line, then 7 syllables in the second line and ends with 5 syllables in the last line.
You can submit your entries by email to sanremo@myli.org.au or drop off your completed entry form at any Bass Coast library. All entries will be on display at the San Remo library until end of the whale migration. We can’t wait to be inspired by your imaginative entries!
