Korumburra Library

24/7 Access means you can use the library outside of normal staffed hours, any time of the day or night. You’ll scan in with your Access Card and enjoy the library’s facilities whenever it suits you — whether it’s 6am before work, 9pm after dinner, or anywhere in between. 

It’s designed to give you flexibility, especially if your schedule makes it tricky to visit during regular hours. 

Once you have been approved for a 24/7 Access Membership, you will pay a $30 non-refundable administration to receive your Access Card. You will also be required to attend a new-user induction at the Korumburra Library before your Access Card is activated.

After receiving your Access Card and completing the induction, you’ll have 24/7 Access to the Korumburra Library every day, whether staff are present or not.

To apply for a 24/7 Access Membership, you must be a Myli member and you must be 18 years or older. We offer an Individual Pass or a Family Pass.

Your safety is important. Security systems are in place, and by using 24/7 Access, you agree to follow the conditions of entry. Full details will be provided during your induction. 

• Security Surveillance: All libraries offering 24/7 Access and Open Access are equipped with security cameras for the safety of everyone using the facility. 
• Induction Requirement: An induction session is mandatory before your Access Card is activated. This ensures that all users are familiar with safety procedures and library expectations. 
• Emergency procedures are posted throughout the library. 
• Supervision of Minors: For Family Access members, children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while in the library. 
• Safe Use of Equipment: Be mindful of equipment like computers and printers when using them during off-hours. Keep your belongings secure, and notify library staff if any equipment is damaged or not working properly. 

By following these safety guidelines, you can enjoy a safe and positive experience during your 24/7 Access visits.
