Most Borrowed 2022!

Check out the most borrowed titles across public libraries in Victoria! Fiction was definitely the winner over non-fiction titles. How many of these books have you read?  

Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction titles –  

We’re not surprised that Australian author Liane Moriarty took out the top spot! Library users also really loved their crime fiction titles in 2022.

3. Where the Crawdads Sing – Delia Owens  
4. The Murder Rule – Dervla McTiernan
5. The Dark Hours – Michael Connelly  

Young Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction titles –  

Books that have been turned into movies or t.v series proved popular with YA fans. An interesting fact is that the top 5 titles on this list were all published prior to 2020.

2. Catching Fire – Suzanne Collins  
3. The Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins  
4. The Good Girls Guide To Murder – Holly Jackson  
5. Shadow and Bone – Leigh Bardugo  

Children’s Fiction and Non-Fiction titles –  

The adventures of the Heffley family kept the kids entertained and took out spots #1 and #2. We were thrilled to see Australian authors Ahn Do and Andy Griffiths on the list too!
