Myli – My Community Library (Myli) has appointed three new Independent Directors to its board at its inaugural Annual General Meeting on Friday 4 November, 2022.
Myli Board Chair Cr Annemarie McCabe said the new board directors will bring a wealth of diverse experience and skills to the organisation to support our growth. Growth is essential for providing more resources to deliver our quality services and programs to our communities.
“We are delighted to have the Independent Directors, Simon Waller, Monika Winston and Liam Brobst joining our board to support the ongoing development of the organisation’s future strategy,” Cr McCabe said.
The three new directors have welcomed the opportunity to join the Myli board.
“The opportunity at Myli is deeply interesting to me as it provides what I think are two unique things; on one had we have a leadership team that are innovative and brave and trying new things to grow and continue to be relevant to the changing needs of its members. On the other hand, it’s all for the benefit of local communities,” Mr Brobst said.
Myli CEO Leanne Williams said the three newly created positions strengthen the organisation’s commitment to deliver quality services and programs to our communities.
