As of Saturday 1 November, the Mirboo North Library will be adjusting their opening hours. This is part of a 12-month trial in response to community feedback. To help answer any questions you may have about this change, we have prepared the following Frequently Asked Questions:
The new opening hours are as follows:
Tuesday: 10am – 5pm
Wednesday: 2pm – 5pm
Thursday: 10am – 5pm
Saturday: 10am – 1pm
We are opening on Tuesday mornings.
We are maintaining the same total number of staffed hours but have adjusted the schedule to allow for an extra morning opening. As part of this change:
These adjustments mean we can provide an additional 4 hours on Tuesday mornings, giving us a total of 7 open hours on Tuesdays.

This is part of a 12-month trial in response to community feedback. Many of you shared that regular Thursday morning programming can feel distracting, and that having a quiet morning available would be valuable. Adjusting our opening hours means we can provide an additional 4 hours on Tuesday mornings.
We understand these new hours may not work for everyone, but we will continue to offer our 24/7 service for those who wish to have out-of-hours access to the Mirboo North Library.
Yes! 24/7 Access will remain available at the Mirboo North Library, giving you the freedom to visit anytime, outside regular staffed hours.
To register your interest, simply complete the online application form and choose the membership that suits you—either an Individual Pass (for one adult) or a Family Pass (one adult plus their children under 18).
A Myli team member will review your application to see if you meet the eligibility requirements.
Then we’ll get in touch to arrange your in-person induction. A one-off $30 administration fee applies and is payable at your induction session. Once you’ve completed the induction, you’ll receive your personal Access Fob, giving you entry to the Mirboo North Library whenever it works for you.
