The Korumburra Library is located within the South Gippsland Council Shire. It’s a place where you can learn and connect with others in your community.
The building was designed by renowned architects called Francis-Jones Carpenter Studio and our library offers a welcoming space that is easy to use for everyone. We’re also introducing 24/7 membership soon where you can become a member and access the library anytime, outside of staffed library hours.
Inside the library, there are special areas for different things. Kids can have fun in the children’s area, and teenagers can play games in their own space. If you want to relax or enjoy a nice view from the balcony. You can also use our free Wi-Fi and computers by the big windows.
And there’s more to our library than just books. It’s also a place for community services. You can find things like the Milpara Community House, Centrelink Agency, an Emergency Food Bank, the Korumburra & District Historical Society, and some services from the South Gippsland Shire Council, although they are only available part of the time all located conveniently in the same building.
We’re not just a library; we’re a place where you can learn, have fun, and be a part of the community. Come and visit the Korumburra Library today!
